Nate's 6th birthday
This has been an awesome birthday!!!
Nate hasn't seen his dad for almost 4 years.
* Please forgive the crappy shots. We didn't have a good camera so we abused Jen's E72.
Nate's 6th birthday
"Bird hunting today with papa and mama for Nate's birthday.
We have a specific instruction from the little boy: Get only the angry ones."

Nate and mom reunited- summer 2011
Nate's mom lives outside the country. This year Nate spent his summer with his mom. The background song, I Thought I Lost You by: Miley Cyrus pretty much applies to little Nate's being away from his mom. Incidentally, it was Nate and his mom's favorite song too from the movie Bolt when his mom is still in Manila.
This video makes me happy and at the same time breaks my heart. Needless to say, it was a heartbreaking moment when it's finally time for Nate to go back to Manila.
Sigh.
I pray day in and day out that God would finally allow nate to grow with his mom and dad under the same roof.

Sundays with Nate
Nate's Sundays usually consist of:
1. Kids Church
2. His favorite Teriyaki Chicken at Tokyo Tokyo
3. Hang out at FullyBooked
4. Mandatory purchase of 1 toy car

Dinner with Nate
Nate: Ninang, nagpray na ko. (I prayed already)
Je: ok si ninang naman (Ok, it's my turn)
Je: Dear Lord, thank You for the food and for the blessings that we just received this afternoon
Nate: Wag ka mabilis, dapat mabagal lang. (Don't be fast, you should say your prayers slowly)
Je: Wag ka maingay nate ha. Kami muna ni Lord maguusap. (Quiet, Nate, let me talk to God first)
Nate continued eating his meal
Je: (praying in her mind)
Nate: Wala kang sound!!! (rolled his eyes) (Your sound is turned off!)
